Waterloo General Store

For the thousands of cars that drive through this intersection of routes 5&20 daily, and for all of us in the village, let’s make the first building seen when entering downtown something special.

Extending the glass signage on the first floor for better retail storefront visibility, the southernmost tip of the store will allocate 1,000 Sq Ft for traditional convenience – a place to pick up milk, eggs, and bread, for example, right on Main Street.

The remaining 1600 ft of retail will be allocated to our Shared Economy General Store, allowing local independent vendors to showcase and sell their craft.

In the 1920’s 1 W. Main Street was home to F. Lux & Son’s Market.
Concept Render of 1W Main Street finished project. The project was recently awarded a New York Main Street Grant to assist in the construction costs.
