Waterloo Art Center

A 2 minute walk from the proposed Waterloo Canal Taxi Stop, the Art Center aims to cultivate an appreciation for art in the Finger Lakes region. With a goal to showcase work from local residents, we will give opportunities for all to actively participate in the arts.

The three-story building located at 38 Washington Street was constructed around 1897 by the Waterloo Organ Co. to house its organ and piano manufacturing operations.

The Center will include:

A large 2800 sq ft ground floor exhibition / event space
2 artist residencies
20+ artist studios

Schematic Designs with a focus on cultivating artistic expression in a collaborative mixed-use space.
The current interior 3rd floor represents a historic blank canvas; ready for it’s bright future of limitless artistic expression.
